Questions

Before you book.

The questions founders ask in the first call. Answered here so the call can cover yours.

Is the fixed price actually fixed?

Yes. The number on the scope document is the number on the invoice. We estimate carefully before signing. If we get it wrong, that is our problem to absorb, not yours.

What if the project takes longer than the estimate?

Nothing changes for you. We scope tightly before kickoff and we own the estimate. No change order, no revised invoice, no conversation about extra hours. Delays caused by missing client inputs are handled separately and named in the contract.

Do you require an upfront payment?

50% to start, 50% on delivery. No monthly retainer, no rolling invoices, no surprises. The payment schedule is written into the contract before work begins.

What happens if the delivered product does not match expectations?

The scope document defines done. If what we deliver does not match the signed scope, we fix it at no cost. That is the entire point of writing the scope before touching code.

What does the early partner rate on the MVP mean?

We are building the BCB client portfolio. For the next few engagements we price below our standard rate to move fast and add strong references. Once those slots are filled, the rate returns to $20,000. The discounted price does not affect the delivery standard.

Who actually writes the code?

Adeel Imran. Ten years of senior engineering across four industries, including a 350B pharma client. I write the code. The person you speak to and the person who ships are the same.

Can I start with a chatbot and expand to a full product later?

Yes. Both are standalone engagements. The chatbot ships as its own product. If you later need a full SaaS around it, that is a separate scope and separate contract. Nothing carries over as a hidden dependency.
